Book Blurb!
I discovered that writing a blurb for the back cover of your own book is terribly difficult!
This is all I have been able to come up with so far and seeing as how I’ve stared at it for a long time, I find myself unable to form an opinion.
Blurb for my upcoming book Tree of Roses:
The land of Vedrunthus is a stranger place than Natiir Xylus ever thought. When he locates the warship he has been searching for, he finds himself on a journey that he never expected. Drawn into a series of odd events with a group of even odder strangers, he discovers Queen Ostayla’s evil plot and rather more villainous personages than he would like. Soon enough, he realizes he cannot keep his secret any longer and the journey takes him to places he never thought he would need to go with people he cannot seem to get rid of.

Favorite Places in Books
Today I was thinking about how much I adore certain places in books. I love to read fantasy novels where they quest through wild or haunted woods, or victorian novels where they amble through the dim streets of London. Then there are the books where the characters are sailing over the ocean to unknown places. I love it when there is a huge, old library in a large mansion or palace. There are so many dear places that I love to visit in books and stories.

Yay! Liebster Award!
Today I was wonderfully surprised when I received the Liebster Blog Award. I was nominated by the incredibly awesome Amanda Leigh! Thank you! I highly recommend checking out her great blog! It’s awesome!
When I started blogging at my mother’s suggestion, I never thought anyone would even read anything I wrote. Then I found myself addicted to blogging and loving ever minute of it. I have found so many amazing people!
“Liebster” is German for “Dearest”. The award is a “Share the love arrangement”, given to inspirational bloggers with less than 200 followers. Here is the to do list for any of the “Liebster” blog award recipients.

Books I Wish Would Be Made Into Movies
Here are some books that I would love to see made into movies.
First we have The Historian which is one of my favorite books. This would make a great movie as the story is filled with mystery, adventure and travel.
Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell would make an amazing movie. It would be strange but something marvelous to behold if done right.
The Forgotten Garden is a story of love, mystery and betrayal. It would make a tragic but lovely movie.
Silent in the Grave and the rest of the series I could see being made into a miniseries or something. The mysteries are awesome.
Castaways of the Flying Dutchman. Ghost Pirates. Enough said.
The Name of the Wind would make a spectacular fantasy movie. I would definitely line up to see that on opening night.
Which books would you love to see turned into movies?
