The Distant Hours By: Kate Morton

If I had to think of one word to describe The Distant Hours, it would be: Tragic. The mere intensity of this story leaves you feeling it for a long time after reading it.  This story has a dark, foreboding castle and it melds past and present perfectly. If you’re looking for a deep, tragically intense story that leaves you practically breathless for the mystery to be solved, this is it. I am probably going to end up reading every novel Kate Morton writes and I’m going to love all of them.
