Sorcery and Cecelia or the Enchanted Chocolate Pot By: Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer

Sorcery and Cecelia was simply magical. This book was full of clever wit and hilarious characters. It is a story told through the letters of two friends who find themselves in various mishaps. This book was cozy and entertaining and I would recommend reading it with either a good cup of tea or hot chocolate. This book has two sequels which are: The Grand Tour and The Mislaid Magician. I would recommend this book to anyone in need of something lighthearted and filled with adventure.

Recommended Age: 15 and up.

  1. Great review. The short and sweet ones make me even more intrigued than the sprawling ones.

The book takes an interesting approach to storytelling. I just might give it a look.

By the way, is it weird that when I read your blog name, I mispronounce “sea?”

I think “Lee-ah at See-ah.” Oh brain, stop being stupid.

Thanks so much for sharing. πŸ™‚
