The Seventh Tower Series was something I did not expect. When I bought the first three books, I didn’t expect to like them as much as I did. The books draw you in immediately and immerse you in a unique and exciting story.
Here is the amazon book description:
Tal has lived his whole life in darkness. He has never left his home, a mysterious castle of seven towers. He does not see the threat that will tear apart his family and his world. But Tal cannot stay safe forever. When danger strikes, he must desperately climb the Red Tower to steal a Sunstone. He reaches the top…and then he falls into a strange and unknown world of warriors, iceships, and hidden magic. There Tal makes an enemy who will save his life–and who holds the key to his future.
I loved the characters and the vast world they travel through. The story stays exciting through the whole 6 book series. If you’re looking for a great, fantasy YA series, I would highly recommend this one.
1 – The Fall
2 – Castle
3 – Aenir
4 – Above the Veil
5 – Into Battle
6 – The Violet Keystone

Another Garth Nix series you might enjoy is the Sabriel series. It’s a totally different type of book, but still YA fantasy so you might like it 🙂
I have actually been wanting to try that series! Thanks for the recommendation!
