Eragon was a book I first read quite a few years ago. I had enjoyed it and then continued on to read Eldest. After Eldest I didn’t continue the series. I probably got distracted by other books. However, I picked Eragon up again a few weeks ago to re-read. I found myself enjoying it more than when I read it the first time. It definitely is not the best book ever written, but it is a pleasant, classic Fantasy. I do love the characters and the settings. I can’t help but fall in love with a good quest! If you’re looking for more of a simply Fantasy read, in which there be dragons, I would recommend this one. I’m re-reading Eldest now and definitely plan on reading the other two books right after.
