I just put this book down a few moments ago. Originally I wanted this to be the last book I finished before the new year, but instead it became the first book I finished in the new year. I knew before I even picked this book up that I wouldn’t be disappointed. Kate Morton is an amazing storyteller that creates such depth in each and every one of her characters. This book, just like her others, had an intense mystery that I just couldn’t wait to get to the bottom of. I finished this book in a couple of days and am really disappointed that it is over. This book left me with a feeling of wonder. Absolutely loved it! I would recommend each of her books and am really looking forward to any of her future work.
I have this one on my “to read” pile. Glad to hear you liked it and now I’m looking forward to finishing the one (or two, or three) that I have on the go so I can open this treasure. I love Kate Morton’s writing.
She is definitely a brilliant writer!
I have not read her work, but have downloaded this one to try out, have read mixed reviews from people who’ve read all her books, so good to read such a positive one.
I found to be just as wonderful as her others. If I had to pick a favorite it would either be The House at Riverton or The Distant Hours. All great. 🙂
I have read the Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton and I loved it! I also have The House at Riverton, The Distant Hours and The Secret Keeper to read…I can’t wait to get started on them!
If you loved the Forgotten Garden you will love the other three! 😀
I did! I couldn’t put it down! I think they have sat on my shelf for so long because they are big books and I don’t have much time to read extra around my books for uni but I must fit at least one Kate Morton in over summer!

Wasn’t this a great book! I really enjoy her books, and I’m looking forward to reading The Distant Hours. The first book I read by her was The Forgotten Garden, amazing! Looks like I found the next book to read!
I loved the Distant Hours, too! It was great! 😀
I like her books a lot. I read the Forgotten Garden and the House at Riverton which I thought were great.
Those are two great books. I really loved the Distant Hours as well. 🙂
That’s on my TBR shelf, just waiting for me!
