I’ve been a fan of this author for a while, so I was excited for this book. This was her first adult book, so I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. But damn, it was good. Not only was it over 800 pages and still felt like it wasn’t long enough, but it was such an intense read. You get your heart broken pretty early on, but through the rest of the story and characters you get to feel a sense of hope and happiness even with all the terrible things happening. The characters were so well done in this book and the story had plenty of twists I did not see coming. I read this book as fast as I was able to, but was so sad when it was over. Loved it! Plus my friend got me this amazing signed copy. It was such an amazing gift!
