Huzzah! So we just recently purchased a fish tank. After 2 weeks, we realized that the filter wasn’t very good and we wanted a bigger fish tank. So we ordered a 20 gallon. So far it is so awesome. Now we have four fish. Our Betta – Koray, and three Corydoras – Magnum, Blue Steel and Hansel. (Yes, we like Zoolander.) Anyway, it is so nice and relaxing to have fish and I’m loving it. We are probably going to get some Tetras in the next week or so as well.
It is so difficult to get any decent pictures of this Betta. But he’s perdy.
My husband and I have been wanting a pet for a while. But we live in an apartment, so they aren’t allowed. Except for fish! So we decided to get one. His name is Koray, which means “Ember Moon”. I found it quite fitting because of his coloring. The following pictures totally suck, because he is a speedy little bugger. Either way, here he is!
Hello, all! I have been away for a bit. Lots of work and random stuff going on. As an update on the randomness, I will post a few photos from my visit to the Aquarium with my husband! I love the Aquarium. Hope you are all well! I should have a bookish post up soon.
Here I will post a few pictures my family and I have taken of my doggies. They are both now gone, but I will always remember and love them as the best and most adorable dogs ever.
It all started about 10 years ago when we decided we wanted one small dog. We searched the SPCA for the right little dog, but there weren’t any little dogs that caught our eye. We were searching and searching when we saw one dog named Jerome. We went to visit him and fell in love. We had to visit him a few times before they let us take him, because they wanted to make sure he went to the right home. We were so happy when we were able to take him home.
Jerome when we first got him. His dopey grin says it all. He was the sweetest dog and had an undying love for food.
Shortly after getting him we decided we should get him a friend. My family went to another SPCA and were looking at dogs. Bailey was the last dog they saw and they took her for a little walk. During the walk, she made her way over to the car and sat down. She chose us.
This is Bailey, the most crazy, loyal and loving dog:
When they first met, they sniffed each other happily and became instant friends:
They clearly both adored the couch:
These two dogs were always there, always adorable, always loving. They both had epic ears. Look at the ears:
Here is Jerome as a squirrel:
Here is Bailey being a guard doggy:
Essentially I just wanted to share the awesomeness of my doggies. They were both the most amazing friends and I miss them terribly. I will always remember them and love them. They are family.
I may have woken him up while taking a picture of him. But he was too adorable and I simply had to take a picture!
The Magicians and Mrs. Quent was a book that was a bit darker than I thought it would be, but that only added to it’s intrigue and mystery. If you are looking for something similar to Jane Austen but with magic and a darker atmosphere, this is definitely a book I would recommend. This book was very well written, with great characters and and a good plot. This is a book that surprised me in a good way and I really enjoyed it.
Recommended Age: 17 and up.
I wish I could relax like this when I sleep.
This is my dog Jerome, who looks like he could be part bunny.
